Drill screws every 4 6 inches around the top of your mold.

In the video below i poured a new stamped concrete patio slab right over the old existing concrete.
This was an experiment to pour concrete over the top of existing countertops.
The old concrete was over 20 years old.
All opinion are 100 my own.
When i say bond the concrete you are lying on top off needs to be a rough finish like scabbled.
Concrete countertops are often the domain of professionals but you can create a concrete overlay on an existing tiled countertop with a few humble supplies and materials.
And i must say it has worked out so far.
You could drill holes into the existing concrete surface and insert steel pins and then the mesh on top.
There are a couple cracks but all concrete cracks.
Here s the catch if the existing surface is somewhat in a structurally sound shape and elevating its height to a few inches won t be a problem you can certainly freshen it up with a new layer of concrete.
Anybody can get rid of the existing surface to develop.
Check that the base coat is an even thickness throughout the top.
